All visitors need to go through immigration clearance when they depart from Sri Lanka.

At the immigration counter, the visitor must present the travel document to the Immigration Officer. Visitors are advised to check their passports/travel documents for exit endorsements before they leave the checkpoint. Foreigners leaving Sri Lanka are NOT required to complete an Embarkation Card.
